Clinical Contracts Analyst
Duration - 6 Months, Contract, W2
Location - Irvine, CA
Pay - $40 - $45.70 an hr
Summary
Responsible for drafting, negotiating, and managing clinical trial-related contracts in compliance with regulatory requirements. Oversees the full contract lifecycle, including Healthcare Provider (HCP) service agreements, using standardized templates and internal systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare initial contract files, draft agreements, and manage redlines for routine clinical and service contracts
- Manage contracts through internal approval workflows, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and completeness
- Draft and process HCP and non-HCP contracts using pre-approved templates and sourcing systems
- Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Finance, and business stakeholders to gather required information and resolve data gaps
- Interface with external parties to obtain documentation and clarify contract details
- Submit finalized contracts and supporting documentation through internal approval systems and secure required signatures
- Track contract status, terms, expirations, and lifecycle milestones
- Generate contract-related reports (e.g., cycle time, expiration, status)
- Maintain accurate and organized contract records
- Support process improvements related to contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 2+ years in contract administration, legal support, or a related role
- Experience in healthcare or clinical environments, including work with HCPs (physicians, hospitals, or clinics)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional correspondence with external stakeholders
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills in a high-volume environment
- Ability to read and interpret contractual and legal language at a high level
- Proven ability to collaborate across Legal, Compliance, Finance, and business teams
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Working knowledge of healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, Sunshine Act, CFR, GCP)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
